The navigation menu offers several options, including:

View Service Record

  • Allows you to view your complete service record, including personal information, awards, and promotions.

Edit Service Record

  • Enables you to make changes to your service record, such as updating your address or contact information.

This will open a pop-up window that displays additional information about the assignment, including the start and end dates, the location, the unit designation, and any awards or decorations you received during the assignment.

It is important to keep your Training and Education section up to date, as this information is used to determine your eligibility for promotions, assignments, and other opportunities. You can add new training and education information to your Service Record by submitting a NavPers 1070/613, Request for Correction of Military Records.

Completed Courses

  • List all the courses you have completed, including the course name, the date of completion, and the issuing organization.

Certifications

  • List all the certifications you have earned, including the certification name, the date of certification, and the issuing organization.

Degrees

  • List all the degrees you have earned, including the degree name, the date of completion, and the issuing institution.

To view award details, click on the award name. This will open a pop-up window with more information about the award, including the criteria for receiving it and any special requirements.
